2. Henry STEPHENS , son of Joseph STEPHENS and Deborah UNKNOWN [MAR. STEPHENS], was born in 1850 (approx.) in Rosscrea, County Tipperary. In 1873 he was a Sergt. 52nd Light Infantry. He married Amelia FORMOSA on 14 April 1873 in Valletta, Malta. 1,2 In 1875 he was a Sergeant 52nd Regiment. In 1876 he was a Colour Sergeant, 52nd Regiment. He and Amelia FORMOSA appeared in the census on 3 April 1881 in Cowley, Oxford. They appeared in the census on 5 April 1891 in Cowley. He appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 in Bridewell, Farringdon. In 1901 he was an University Marshall in Oxford. In 1915 he was resident in Southsea, Portsmouth. He died after 1915.
